From Casablanca: 7 Days Morocco Tour

Welcome to Morocco! Arrive to Med V airport in Casablanca where you will meet your driver. The driver will provide a brief overview of your tour. You will explore the city of Casablanca starting with the mosque of Hassan II built by King Hassan II and shows wonderful sample of Moorish influences in Morocco. We will also take a smooth walk by the seaside of Casablanca. Casablanca is the economic capital and the largest city in Morocco, linked to the 1942 movie Casablanca, with modern architecture and white building with distinct French art deco influences. We will also visit the main square of Med V, and the Cathedral of Sacred Coeur, which blends Moroccan and European influences.

Around 08:00 AM you will be picked up from your hotel in Casablanca by your English-speaking driver, transfer to Marrakech for about a 2:30 hours drive where you will be welcomed by your English-speaking guide in Marrakech to enjoy the rest day in Marrakech. Discover historical sightseeing includes Koutoubia Mosque, Bahia Palace, Majorelle Garden, and Saadian Tombs. Lunch (optional) will be served at a local restaurant before visiting the souks in handicraft quarters. In the afternoon you will have time to go shopping at the famous Djemâa El Fina before. Later Overnight at your Riad in the old Medina

Depart from Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains via the amazing Tizi n’Tichka Pass. Once crossed, everything changes. From the barren desert to the stunning red rock mountains outlined by lush green river beds, the contrast is spectacular and all that is needed for breathtaking landscapes.It takes a good two days with photographic stops to arrive at our luxury tent camp outside Merzouga. Here you will also experience the authentic remote lifestyles of the indigenous Berber tribes people. Be prepared for many amazing photo opportunities. Our amazing day will take us through Aït Benhaddou including many wonderful casbahs and lush valleys. We will visit the Ksar and explore Berber architecture. We will explore the cities of Ouarzazate, Skoura, Roses Valley and Dades Valley before arriving at our hotel in Boumalne Dades. 

Overnight in Luxury Raid Dades

After breakfast we leave our Luxury Raid Dades for our drive to Merzouga Sahara Desert. Our ride will take us to Tinghir. Here we will visit Todgha Gorges. After exploring we will continue on passing through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud. Here you will begin to feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then finally on to Merzouga. In Morocco Sahara Desert we will switch to a 4-wheel drive Land Cruiser and head into the desert to our Luxury Tent Desert Camping, complete with hot and cold running water, king size beds and duvets, shower and toilet.Once in the camp we will position ourselves high up on a dune to capture the camel caravans passing through. Shooting in the desert at this time is truly an amazing experience, complete with a golden glow and long shadows. Here we will hopefully enjoy a magical sunset. Dinner followed by the beating of Berber drums around a fire pit.

After a starry Sky night in the Merzouga Sahara desert, we are up early to climb the sand dunes and photograph a splendid sunrise. Then after breakfast we will ride camels back to our driver / guide in Sahara. After a brief break we begin our return trip to Tinghir and depending on conditions may take a different route back. Here you will experience a truly remote and extreme Morocco. Vast barren landscapes and very small villages.

On the day 6 after breakfast in the hotel, we take off for Ait Ben Haddou kastel passing back through the cities of Ouarzazate, Skoura, Roses Valley and Dades Valley. After we cross th and back to civilization. Once in the Castel we checkin to our luxury hotel in the village for a completely different Kasbah experience. In the evening we will prepare for our wonderful “Farewell Dinner”, with great fun and laughter as we discuss all the highlights of the trip.

Our final morning starts with a tasty breakfast in your riad. Ouarzazate is known as the gateway to the Sahara desert and the Hollywood of Africa. The city is home to the historical Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas studio, which made it a famous film-making location. 

   After immersing ourselves in the enchanting sights of Ouarzazate, our journey proceeds to the captivating Ait Ben Haddou. Here, we are granted the opportunity to explore the ancient Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, a site of significant historical value protected by UNESCO since 1987. This remarkable fortress has served as a backdrop for numerous iconic films and television series, including Gladiator, The Mummy, and Game of Thrones, which only adds to its allure.
     As we conclude our exploration of the mesmerizing Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, our journey takes us onwards to the vibrant city of Marrakech, leading us through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. During the trip, we will enjoy admiring the fascinating Telouet Kasbah.
